Buffalo Stack

Buffalo Stack

Buffalo Stack live from December 1 to 13, 2014. Featuring Andy Stack (guitar, vocals), Lee Falco (drums) and Brandon Morrisson (Bass).

For 13 years Andy Stack played every gig in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx that you can imagine. A trip to New Orleans to visit a friend seemed to point to a move to the Big Easy. He came back determined to pack up and leave. The next night he went out to a gig at the 55 bar. There were about 15 people there – and this cute girl in the corner. They started talking. Within two months they had a duo band (The Stacks), in 7 months they were married, and a month after that they left New York for Hudson, NY. One night at Levon Helm’s Barn they heard Lee Falco (drums), Brandon Morrison (bass) and Connor Kennedy tearing it up. The 5 became fast friends… Buffalo Stack was born, and the self-named album, for anyone who loves old-school Rock & Roll, Blues & Americana music.

The Natural Mystics

The Natural Mystics live from November 3 to November 152014. Featuring Art ‘SKI’ Halperin: Vocals, Guitar ; Winston ‘SHUGS’ Riley: Bass ; Patrick ‘PADDYMIKE’ : Drums, Percussion.

Art Sky has played several times before on St Barths, always on the Baz stage with different bands, such as «Work of Art». Indefatigable, he comes back with a new project: The Natural Mystics. There will be a lot of reggae, of course, but also rock music and songs from the Work of Art repertory… all written by Art. As a composer, songs he has written for other artists have appeared on Billboard’s R&B, Pop, and even classical charts. He has written and recorded on many national and international albums, TV and radio commercials. He has also been featured along with his band, on screen in the John Sayles movie «Baby it’s You». The legendary producer and talent scout John Hammond Sr., (the man who discovered Dylan, Springsteen and Aretha Franklin among many others) was so impressed with Art’s music that he signed Art as the first artist on Hammond/CBS Records.

Winston ‘Shugs’ Riley (bass) got the name from playing so sweet… Like sugar. He is the best known bass player in Antigua and has played with most of the major Caribbean reggae and soca bands that have passed through Antigua.

Patrick ‘Paddymike’ (Drums, Percussion) lives in NY and has played drums for Art for 25 years.
